What to Expect
The amount of value and benefit in coaching increases when both coach and client take responsibility for creating a great working relationship. The power of coaching comes from this relationship. The following responsibilities can help us do that.
The Coaching Partnership
My responsibilities include…
- Showing up on time and prepared for the session and keeping the session to the agreed amount of time.
- Holding what you share as confidential.
- Helping you focus, learn, prioritize, accessing insight and inspiration to do and be what’s important to you.
- Co-Creating practices and actions to help you meet your goals/outcomes/aspirations.
- Keeping the big picture for you and helping you stay true to your values and stay on track with your purpose in coaching.
I ask those I coach to….
- Show up fully and honestly to each session. Your whole self is invited, welcomed, and honored.
- Bring the agenda of what you want to be coached on to each session. If you are not sure, we will get you there. The more specific you are, the greater the value you’ll receive.
- Make a commitment for the time period we agree to coach and make some space for it in your life. If the coaching doesn’t work well for you, we can adjust or discontinue at any time.
- Let me know what works and or doesn’t work well for you in our coaching so that we can adapt.
- Know that coaching is not a replacement for other services such as consulting or therapy but may be used in tandem.
- Though my methods will support you in achieving your goals, the ultimate responsibility for their achievement rests with you.
